What Email Assistant does
Email Assistant lets you draft and send outreach emails directly from Vouch Local—no need to switch to Gmail or another email client. When you find an opportunity in Scout or Competitors, you can create a tailored draft, review it, and send it in one place. Your sent emails and replies stay organized so you can follow up without losing context.
Drafts are customized to each opportunity—chamber of commerce, directory, sponsorship, or blog—so your message fits the context.
How to use Email Assistant
- Connect Gmail — Email Assistant uses your Gmail to send and receive messages. You'll be asked to connect Gmail when you first use the feature.
- Create a draft — From Scout or Competitors, click "Draft email" on an opportunity. A draft is generated based on the organization and your business. You can edit the draft before sending.
- Send or save — Review the draft, make any edits, and send it directly from Vouch Local. Or save it as a draft to send later.
- Track sent emails — Sent emails appear in the Email Assistant with their status. You can view replies and continue the conversation in the thread.
- Mark approvals — When someone replies and confirms you're listed, click "Approve" or mark it as listed. This can add the listing to My Listings and update your visibility score.
Tips for Email Assistant
- Personalize drafts before sending—add a specific detail about the organization or your business.
- Use the thread view to follow up when someone replies, so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Mark approvals when you get confirmation—this keeps My Listings and your visibility score up to date.
- Create drafts from Competitors when you find a listing you want to pursue—reach out to the same organization they're listed on.
