Vouch Local AI LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Vouch Local website and SaaS platform (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. It applies to all users of our Service, including visitors to our marketing website and registered account holders.

Who Is Responsible for Your Data

Information We Collect

Account and Registration Data

When you create an account or sign in, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name and profile image (when you sign in with Google or provide them)
  • Sign-in method (e.g., Google, email magic link, or verification code)
  • Account and session identifiers, and records of sign-in and verification events (e.g., that you received a sign-in email or completed verification) for security and product analytics

Data from Google

If you sign in with Google and grant permissions, we receive and process:

  • Google account: Email, name, and profile picture from your Google account.
  • Google Business Profile (GBP): Information about your business locations that you manage via GBP (e.g., business name, address, category, phone number, website, and similar profile data). We use this to sync your locations in the app, show your dashboard, run Scout and Competitors, and provide listing and visibility features.
  • Gmail (if you use Email Assistant): When you use features that draft or send email on your behalf, we use Gmail send and read scopes to create drafts, send messages, and read thread context as necessary to provide the feature. We do not use your Gmail data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Vouch Local uses Google Business Profile data to analyze local search gaps and Gmail to send outreach drafts. We do not sell this data.

Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.

Business and Listing Data

We store and process data you provide or that we derive from your use of the Service, including:

  • Your selected business location(s) and any edits or notes
  • Existing listings and opportunities you add (e.g., URLs and names of directories, chambers, sponsorships)
  • Scout results (discovered opportunities, locations searched, and related metadata)
  • Competitor data (names, rankings, footprint links, and related analytics we compute or display)
  • Email drafts and records of emails sent through the Service (e.g., to opportunities)
  • Reports, exports, or saved configurations you create

Billing and Subscription Data

If you subscribe or make payments, we or our payment processor (e.g., Stripe) collect and process billing information (e.g., payment method, billing address, transaction history, subscription and trial status). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; payment card processing is handled by our payment provider in accordance with their privacy policy and applicable standards.

Usage and Technical Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including:

  • Log data (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps)
  • Device and application identifiers
  • Credits consumed, feature usage (e.g., Scout runs, competitor refreshes), and similar product usage data
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies below)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service (e.g., authentication, workspace and team features, Scout, Competitors, Dashboard, Opportunities, Email Assistant, Reports)
  • Sync and display your Google Business Profile locations and use GBP data as described in this policy
  • Draft and send emails via Gmail when you use the Email Assistant, and display relevant thread context
  • Process subscriptions, trials, credits, and payments
  • Send transactional and service-related messages (e.g., sign-in links, verification codes, billing and account notifications)
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service
  • Analyze usage and trends to improve the product and user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms of Service
  • Comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others

Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK)

Where required by law (e.g., in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), we process your personal data on the following bases:

  • Contract: Processing necessary to perform our contract with you (e.g., providing the Service, billing).

  • Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vouch Local AI LLC, our users, or the public.
