What Scout does
Scout is your discovery hub for local visibility. It researches your market and surfaces opportunities where your business should be listed—directories, chambers of commerce, sponsorships, and local blogs. Each opportunity includes a Vouch score (how relevant it is for you), a category tag, and a description so you can decide what to pursue.
Scout focuses on your business's city and region. Results are tailored to your location and industry so you see opportunities that actually matter for your local presence.
How to use Scout
- Select your business — Use the business selector at the top to choose the location you want to find opportunities for.
- Run Scout — Click "Find opportunities" or use the search bar to start. Scout will search your local market and return a list of opportunities.
- Review results — Each card shows the organization name, category (Chamber of Commerce, Sponsorship, Local Blog, etc.), a Vouch score, and a short description. Use this to decide which opportunities fit your goals.
- Take action — From each card you can:
- Read more — Open the opportunity's website
- Draft email — Start an outreach draft in the Email Assistant
- Create task — Add a follow-up task so you don't forget
- I'm already listed here — Mark it as an existing listing and verify it (saves to My Listings if confirmed)
Tips for getting the most out of Scout
- Run Scout regularly—new directories and sponsorships appear in your market over time.
- Use "Create task" for opportunities you want to pursue later, so nothing falls through the cracks.
- If you're already listed somewhere, use "I'm already listed here" to add it to My Listings and boost your visibility score.
- Combine Scout with Competitors—check where your competitors are listed, then use Scout to find similar opportunities you haven't explored yet.
