What Tasks does

Tasks lets you keep track of follow-ups, notes, and to-dos related to your opportunities. When you find something in Scout or Competitors that you want to pursue later, you can create a task so you don't forget. Tasks can be linked to opportunities or email threads, so you always have context.

Tasks are grouped by business, so each location you manage has its own task list.

How to use Tasks

  1. Select your business — Use the business selector to view tasks for the right location.
  2. Create a task — From Scout or Competitors, click "Create task" on an opportunity. A task is added with a reference to that opportunity. Or add a task manually from the Tasks page with a title and description.
  3. View and manage — Tasks appear in a list with their title, description, and link to the related opportunity or email. Mark tasks complete when you're done.
  4. Follow up — When an email thread needs follow-up, Vouch Local can add a task automatically. You can also create follow-up tasks manually after sending outreach.

Tips for Tasks

  • Create tasks when you find opportunities you can't act on immediately—they'll stay on your list until you follow up.
  • Use tasks to track outreach follow-ups—e.g., "Follow up on Chamber of Commerce email in 3 days."
  • Mark tasks complete as you go so your list stays focused on what's left to do.
  • Review the Tasks page regularly to avoid letting opportunities slip.
